Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Gardens Lecture Series to feature LSU horticulturist

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Gardens at Stephen F. Austin State University will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in the Agriculture Building, Room 110, at 1924 Wilson Drive.

Dr. Ed Bush, a Louisiana State University horticulturist, will present "Grow Your Garden and Enjoy a Cup of Tea." Bush is an associate professor of ornamental horticulture in the LSU School of Plant, Environmental and Soil Sciences in Baton Rouge, La. His areas of specialization and research include ornamental horticulture, commercial nursery crops, water quality, irrigation management and stress physiology. Bush received his bachelor's degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and his master's and doctoral degrees from LSU.

The Theresa and Les Reeves Garden Lecture Series is normally held the third Thursday of each month at the Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture's Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Mast Arboretum. A rare plant raffle will be held after the program. The lecture is free and open to the public, but donations to the Theresa and Les Reeves lecture series endowed fund are always appreciated.
