Central Heights eighth grader Cameron LaGraff will sing the role of Amahl in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ School of Music's production of Gian Carlo Menotti's classic Christmas opera, "Amahl and the Night Visitors," at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, and at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, in Cole Concert Hall on the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ campus. The originally scheduled 9 a.m. performance on Thursday has been canceled. The opera, written in English, tells the story of a poor, crippled shepherd boy and his mother, who are visited by the Three Kings during their journey to the Christ Child. Tickets for the Thursday performance are $6 for individuals and $5 each for groups of 20 or more. Tickets for the Saturday performance are $8 for adults and $6 for seniors, students and youth.
