The Nacogdoches Naturally program of Stephen F. Austin State University's Pineywoods Native Plant Center will host a day trip to Mission Tejas State Park on Saturday, Feb. 6.
The park provides replicas of Texas history in a pineywoods setting. Park employee John Tatum will guide the group as they cook a Dutch oven lunch, hike along El Camino Real, learn about pioneer tools and toys, and fish at the pond.
Reservations are required. Those attending will meet at 9 a.m. at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet St. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ vans will be available for those who do not want to drive their own vehicle.
