Stephen F. Austin State University horticulturist Dawn Stover will explain how beautiful holiday decorations can be made with items from the garden during a workshop on Saturday, Dec. 4. Using her years of experience as research associate in charge of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Mast Arboretum, Dawn will share easy techniques for making the perfect wreath and magnolia garland.
The cost of the class is $20 for Friends of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Gardens members and $30 for non-members. Seminar space is limited, so advance registration is requested. To register, contact the education office at (936) 468-1832 or e-mail erodewald@sfasu.edu.
The workshop will be from 9 a.m. until noon in Room 118 of the Agriculture Building at 1924 Wilson Dr. on the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ campus.
