NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin State University Campus Recreation Department will host the fourth annual Worsham Bass Tournament beginning at safelight Saturday, June 25, at Jackson Hill Park and Marina on Lake Sam Rayburn in Broaddus.
The tournament benefits the Dr. Raymond Lee Worsham Scholarship for Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Campus Recreation established with the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Alumni Association.
Worsham was the intramural department director at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ for 43 years. The scholarship was created to honor Worsham's dedication and lasting impact to the university and will provide financial assistance to student employees of the Campus Recreation Department.
The entry fee is $150 per boat, and participants can register for the tournament online at , mail a registration form to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Alumni Association or register at the Jackson Hill boat ramp before the tournament begins.
There will be a 60-percent payout for first, second and third place and a prize package for Big Bass.
