NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The A Cappella Choir at Stephen F. Austin State University is one of only two university choirs to be invited to perform at this year’s Southwestern American Choral Directors Association conference slated for Feb. 27 through March 2 in Denver, Colorado.
The choir, directed by Dr. Michael Murphy, director of choral activities at ĢƵ, will present a preview concert of this performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, in Cole Concert Hall, Wright Music Building, on the ĢƵ campus.
“Through a rigorous audition process, the ĢƵ A Cappella Choir was extended this prestigious invitation,” Murphy said.
