The University of Texas System Board of Regents approved Stephen F. Austin State University’s strategic plan, campus master plan and future Lumberjack Crossing residence hall during its Feb. 18-19 quarterly meeting in Austin.
Stephen F. Austin State University’s Department of Biology will host the J.H. Burr Distinguished Lecture Series at 5 p.m. March 19 in Kennedy Auditorium. The featured speaker will be Dr. Lee Fitzgerald ’78, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ alumnus, professor at Texas A&M University and curator of the herpetology collection at the Biodiversity Research and Teaching Collections at the university.
Stephen F. Austin State University will present Grammy nominee and five-time Blues Music Award winner Sue Foley at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in Turner Auditorium. The performance is presented by Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµâ€™s Micky Elliott College of Fine Arts as part of the University Series.
