As a student in the professional pilot concentration, you’ll split your time between traditional university classrooms and hands-on flight training. By partnering with HCH Aviation, the program provides access to modern, high-tech training aircraft like the Tecnam P-Mentor.
³Û´Ç³Ü’l±ô be issued a student pilot certificate and begin flight labs during your first semester, allowing you to build real-world experience alongside your academic coursework.
Your path to the skies
Over your four-year degree plan, you’ll earn a series of industry-recognized FAA certifications and ratings, including:
- Private pilot license
- Instrument rating
- Commercial certificate
- Multiengine rating
- Certified flight instructor (CFI) credentials
This concentration is highly focused. and because instructors want you to be prepared for the highest standards of the industry, you’ll undergo an interview process and be required to hold a first-class medical certificate. It’s important to note that due to federal regulations, this specific concentration is only open to U.S. citizens.
