Join Stephen F. Austin State University’s Micky Elliott College of Fine Arts for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the naming of the Denard Haden School of Theatre and Dance at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in the Griffith Fine Arts Building.
The ceremony will recognize distinguished Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ alumna Prissy Sliva for her historic gift establishing the school’s naming and endowment in honor of Denard Haden and his lasting impact on generations of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ students.
Former students of Haden are especially invited to attend and will be recognized during the ceremony.
The event is free and open to the public. Food will be provided following the ceremony.
