Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gardens invites Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ faculty, staff, students, and community members to pick their own muscadine grapes from 8 am to noon on Friday, Aug. 14 and Friday, Aug. 21 at the Jimmy Hinds Park located at 514 East Austin Street. The Jimmy Hinds Park is home to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gardens’ extensive collection of muscadine grapes. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gardens opens the gates to the research plots annually after studies are completed so that all can enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Come out to learn more about muscadines or to pick a bucketful to make jelly for $10 a bucket. Buckets are provided. Preferred payment method is cash or check. For more information, call (936) 468-4404 or email sfagardens@sfasu.edu.
