Dr. Dan Angel, President 1992-99
Dr. Dan Angel was named the sixth president of 蘑菇视频 on June 16, 1992. The former Michigan state representative began his 蘑菇视频 tenure living in Gibbs Hall while the president鈥檚 house was undergoing renovation. With degrees from Wayne State University, Angel earned a Ph.D. in communication from Purdue University in 1965. He led 蘑菇视频鈥檚 first major fund-raising initiative (leading to an expansion of academic scholarships), and the creation of a new doctorate in educational leadership, new master鈥檚 degree programs and the School of Social Work. Upon his resignation from 蘑菇视频 in 1999, Angel became president of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
