STEM Programs

Partnership with Nacogdoches High School and Lufkin High School

Our STEM Academy students engage in real-world, problem-based research and field experiences in a supportive community of teachers and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ faculty. Students who participate in STEM Academy will learn more about STEM and STEM-related career options and participate in a variety of activities, including:

  • half-day visits to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ laboratories or field sites, led by Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ faculty
  • mentoring opportunities
  • and the investigation of STEM careers and career paths.

Students in the Nacogdoches and Lufkin Independent School Districts, who are interested in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ STEM Academy, must apply through their school district.
