The world of communication is continuously reinvented as new media platforms emerge. At Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, our media and communication students are prepared for the ever-changing digital world through hands-on learning opportunities with the latest technology, which allows our Lumberjacks to graduate fully career ready.

KSAU 90.1 is Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s student-run radio station
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ TV-2 is Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s very own student television station.
  • Radio/television students have access to some of the most interesting experiences in media. From producer to segment editor, director to camera operator, the sky’s the limit.
  • Our Photo Journalism and Lighting Lab gives students access to the software the pros use. The lab also helps students learn the finer points of lighting for photo shoots.
  • Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ-TV2 is Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s very own student-operated television station. Students get to know the equipment that is needed to air a news broadcast and can experience the thrill of appearing on TV for themselves.
  • KSAU 90.1 is Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s student-run radio station, and there are plenty of opportunities for Lumberjacks to get involved. If you’re an aspiring DJ, you could even get some airtime!
  • Students are given the opportunity to gain valuable experience by participating in student presentations. Whether for class assignments or student competitions, being comfortable with speaking to large groups is a key component of effective communication.
