Engagement and personal growth
At Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, we develop the whole person, and becoming involved on campus is a huge part of that. More than 200 clubs and orgs means ample opportunity to grow your interests and find your niche. You can volunteer in one of our huge annual service days, develop leadership and public speaking skills as an Orientation leader or Jack Walker, or just find a community with some of your same hobbies.
Safe and convenient location
Just two hours from Houston and three hours from Dallas, Nacogdoches is Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's home, and its 30,000 citizens take care of each other. That extends to our on-campus safety — The University of Texas System Police Department at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ provides around-the-clock support for students, including 24/7 patrol, emergency call boxes across campus, and car unlocking assistance, among many other services.
Supportive environment
Our 15:1 student-to-faculty ratio helps students and instructors build relationships that assist students academically and with future career decisions.
