A university charter school on Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ campus was approved by the Texas State Board of Education in January 2008 and the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Charter School opened August 2008. Located in the Janice A. Pattillo Early Childhood Research Center, the accredited Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Charter School is focused on the twin goals of improving public education and enhancing the preparation of future educators and school psychologists.

School hours

8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday
Mid-August through the end of May

Working at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Charter School

Teachers must have, at minimum, a bachelor's degree with appropriate and valid Texas certification in the area required. A degree emphasis in early childhood education is preferred. Additionally, two years of effective classroom teaching experience is preferred.
