The Jim and Beth Kingham Children’s Garden was established with community support as a tranquil and beautiful outdoor space for learning. A timber frame pavilion is the garden’s centerpiece and was built in one day by the Timber Framers Guild of North America in 1998. Gardens surrounding the pavilion feature pollinator-friendly plants that provide habitat for bees, butterflies, birds, beetles and bats. The garden is named in honor of Jim and Beth Kingham, enthusiastic supporters of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and the Nacogdoches community.

The garden is located on East College Street, west of the William R. Johnson Coliseum ( or see site 22 on the downloadable map). Parking is available after 4 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends on East College Street or in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Commuter Lot accessible from University Drive.
