Axe ’Em, Jacks!
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ's Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden is about to become even more inspiring. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gardens and the School of Art are partnering to launch an exciting new sculpture walk that will add original works of art to one of East Texas’ most beloved natural spaces. This unique project will transform the garden into a vibrant destination where art and nature meet.
In its inaugural year, the exhibition will showcase sculptures created by local artists, as well as Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ students and faculty members, building both community pride and momentum for the future of this program. Starting next year, 10 artists from Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, including Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ students, will be selected each year to showcase their sculptures in this exhibition. Your support will help these regional artists transport and install their sculptures in the azalea garden.
