Distinguished donors celebrated at 35th annual Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gala

NACOGDOCHES, Texas –– Stephen F. Austin State University recognized several prominent donors who have supported the institution during the 35th annual Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gala Jan. 31 on campus.

Hosted by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵSU Foundation, the annual black-tie event honors generous benefactors to the university; showcases the impact of their giving on students, faculty, staff and programs; and reiterates the need for the university’s endowment. This year, the university introduced the Century Society, a new giving society that recognizes lifetime giving of $5 million or more.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s Rusche Ambassadors Program launched to strengthen student recruitment, engagement efforts

NACOGDOCHES, Texas –– The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ at Stephen F. Austin State University has launched the Rusche Ambassadors Program, a student leadership initiative designed to enhance recruitment efforts, elevate the visitor experience and strengthen student engagement within the college.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas –– Stephen F. Austin State University’s Department of Allied Health Studies will host the inaugural Allied Health Professionals Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 6 in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Twilight Ballroom.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ students reflect on their time as Archer Fellows

NACOGDOCHES, Texas –– Two recent Stephen F. Austin State University political science graduates — Miguel Koch from Allen and Trent Bush from Timpson — represented the university in the Archer Fellowship Program in Washington, D.C., during the fall 2025 semester. They joined peers from across The University of Texas System and got a front-row seat to the policymaking process through the elite program.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas –– Stephen F. Austin State University’s Department of Biology is set to celebrate Darwin Day at noon Feb. 12 in the Kennedy Auditorium with special guest speaker Dr. James Albert from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
