NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin State University College of Fine Arts and School of Music will present the Orchestra of the Pines in concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, in Cole Concert Hall on the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ campus.

Apply to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ by Dec. 1 for First-Choice Scholarship priority benefits


NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Prospective students who apply to Stephen F. Austin State University before Dec. 1, 2014 may qualify for a range of benefits not available to those who delay their applications.

The new First-Choice Scholarship priority benefits include receiving early notification of the fall 2015 residence hall assignment, access to a priority sign-up window for summer Orientation, and a $250 credit applied to the fall 2015 bill.

KSAU to be temporarily off the air


NACOGDOCHES, Texas - KSAU, the radio station of Stephen F. Austin State University, will be off the air for the next couple of months while its transmitter site is being updated.

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Board of Regents recently approved the replacement of the 25-year-old transmitter, antenna and transmitter building.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Gardens at Stephen F. Austin State University will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet St. in Nacogdoches. Horticulturist Jenny Wegley will present "If I Hear Color One More Time, I'm Changing My Profession."
