Orientation and Family Programs

We're so excited to welcome you to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, Lumberjack!

Lumberjack Orientation is a one-day, multi-session event specifically to get you ready for the upcoming semester and your life as a Lumberjack. It's required for first-year freshmen and encouraged for transfer students.

While you're attending Orientation, expect to:

  • learn more about your academic program.
  • meet your dean, advisor, faculty and staff members within your academic program.
  • interact with other Lumberjacks.
  • explore campus resources and prepare for life as a Lumberjack!

Before you register

Have you viewed the Becoming a Lumberjack checklist? Before you can register for Orientation, you must have the state-law-mandated documents on file.

Bringing family?

We offer two special alternative Orientation tracks to ensure parents, siblings and family members are getting the most out of their day. Explore Destination Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ and Guest Orientation as add on options to your registration.

Registration information

  • Cost: $140 per Lumberjack
    • Includes lunch and T-shirt.
  • To register, log in to the as soon as you can to secure your preferred date.

After you register:

  1. Send in any remaining documents required by Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ offices.
  2. Meet with your academic advisor.
  3. Clear your registration holds.
  4. Submit a photo through myÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ for your campus ID.
