Dates and Deadlines

The spring term is split into three parts-of-term: full spring, spring I and spring II. Review the dates and deadlines carefully for the parts-of-term for which you are registered.

All dates are tentative and may be modified at any time without prior notice in order to comply with state and federal guidelines.

Refund schedules

Refunds upon withdrawal

A student officially withdrawing from the university is eligible for a refund of tuition and certain fees according to the following schedules:

Full spring

  • 100% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Jan. 15
  • 80% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Jan. 25
  • 70% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Feb. 1
  • 50% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Feb. 8
  • 25% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Feb. 15
  • 0% — After Feb. 15

Spring I

  • 100% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Jan. 15
  • 80% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Jan. 21
  • 50% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Jan. 26
  • 0% — After Jan. 26

Spring II

  • 100% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. March 19
  • 80% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. March 24
  • 50% — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. March 29
  • 0% — After March 29

Refunds for dropped courses

A student dropping one or more classes but taking more than zero hours is eligible for a 100% refund of tuition and certain fees according to the following schedules:

  • Full spring— Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Feb. 3
  • Spring I — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. Jan. 22
  • Spring II — Withdraw on or before 4 p.m. March 25

Note: Dropping to zero hours is considered a withdrawal and the withdrawal refund schedule is applicable.
