If you have an urgent mental health concern during regular business hours, stop by the Health and Wellness Hub for a walk-in crisis appointment with a counselor. There also are several 24/7 crisis hotlines ready to help.

Check-ups, sick visits and more

Our team of licensed medical professionals offer Lumberjacks primary care services right here at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. Students have access to a full range of medical services through the health clinic. From checkups and preventive care to immunizations to contraceptives and STI testing, we're here to help ensure that your time at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is happy and healthy.

Receiving on-campus care

  Schedule an appointment

Required for most visits and usually available same-day or next-day. 
Schedule your appointment through the patient portal using your myÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ credentials.

  Walk-in visits

Available for acute illness, minor injury or reaction.
Walk-in during clinic hours and be seen as soon as possible.

There may be a longer wait time for walk-in visits. Appointments are strongly encouraged to reduce wait times and ensure timely care.

Our services at the Health Clinic

Services provided by our licensed medical professionals

  • Hep B, Influenza, Bacterial Meningitis, TDAP (Tetanus) immunizations
  • Hep B, Varicella, MMR bloodwork
  • TB skin test or blood work
  • Sickle Cell screen
  • Urine drug screen
  • Physicals
  • Prescription refills (no controlled substances)
  • Testing/treatment for
    • Illnesses and minor injuries
    • Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
  • Women's health
    • Routine gynecology check-up, including breast exam and pap smear
    • Contraceptive information and prescriptions
      • Depo Provera injections
    • Pelvic exams for pain or symptoms

We do not offer:

  • X-rays
  • Eye Exams, glasses or contacts
  • Dental services
  • Physical therapy
  • Prenatal care (includes treating an illness while you're pregnant)
  • Work-related injuries (view worker's compensation insurance webpage.)
  • Automobile accidents (you must receive initial evaluation and treatment by an area medical facility.)
  • Allergy testing
  • ADHD testing/treatment

Sick notes for class

Need a sick note?

If you're seen by our provider, you may request a sick note at the time of your visit. The note will include the date of your visit and your return-to-class date. Sick notes don't guarantee an excused absence. Refer to HOP policy 02-102 (class attendance) and notify your instructors of your absence.

 

Remember your student ID and health insurance card! You'll need these with you every visit.

Payment is required at the time Health Clinic services are rendered. Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit cards, and . Payment plans are available for students who are unable to pay at the time of service.
