Stephen F. Austin State University students enrolled in Associate Professor Perky Beisel's History 308: Introduction to Public History course stand in front of a preliminary exhibit on crime and punishment commissioned by the Stone Fort Museum. NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Nominations are being accepted for Stephen F. Austin State University's Stone Fort Museum's Cum Concilio Club Heritage Preservation Award, which honors those dedicated to preserving Nacogdoches and its history.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's College of Education hosts second Partners in Educator Preparation Appreciation Banquet


NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin State University's educator preparation program in the James I. Perkins College of Education hosted its second Partners in Educator Preparation Appreciation Banquet May 4 on the university campus.

During their final semester before graduation, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students majoring in education begin their student teaching in school districts across Texas. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ sends approximately 350 students each academic year into approximately 500 classrooms across Texas to complete their student teaching.
