NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin State University Department of Government will host a lecture featuring Bill Whittle at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Dugas Liberal Arts Building, Room 102. Whittle's lecture is titled "The Implications for Liberty in the Wake of the 2016 Election and President Donald J. Trump."

Whittle began his career as a freelance television editor and has worked with The Discovery Channel, The History Channel and NBC. He has written for National Review Online and the Daily Wire and is a frequent contributor to Breitbart news.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin State University's Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gardens will host a garden seminar focused on beginner beekeeping from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 22, at the Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, located at 2900 Raguet St.

Dave Gallager from the Pineywoods Beekeepers Association will discuss the basics of getting started with bees, hive management and necessary equipment.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music has announced that Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ alumnus Doice Grant, owner of Tatum Music Company and a former band director, is the newest inductee into the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Band Directors' Hall of Fame.
