NACOGDOCHES - When Stephen F. Austin State University student Lindsey Hall visited with representatives of Secondary Education Opportunities, she did not realize the meeting would lead to an internship of a lifetime.

"American culture is changing," Hall said. "An internship is the new pre-requisite for any job, especially in the highly competitive industries of business and finance."

Energy company donates solar array for new Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ facility


Green Mountain Energy Sun Club presented Stephen F. Austin State University with a $30,000 check Wednesday. The donation will be used to fund a solar array on the roof of the newly constructed Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center.

Cole Art Center to host second screening of 'Calling Home the Dead'

Lecture series to feature Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Gardens director


NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Gardens at Stephen F. Austin State University will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, in the Agriculture Building, Room 110, at 1924 Wilson Drive.

Dr. David Creech, professor emeritus in the Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture, will present "Why Raising a Garden and Raising Kiddos is About the Same Thing: It's All About Breaking Rules."

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Tickets are still available for the upcoming performance of Grammy award-winning jazz legend Diane Schuur at Stephen F. Austin State University.

The show, slated for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in W.M. Turner Auditorium, is part of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ College of Fine Arts' 2013-2014 University Series, "Live Out Loud."
